Formerly a writer for Lark Books and publicist for Children's Book Press, Amy Cook began hawking her skills on a freelance basis in 2002. Since, she has provided editorial and PR support to Bay Area nonprofit organizations, written like a demon, baked a lot of muffins, and deeply enjoyed her professional freedom. She lives in San Francisco with her husband and their two cats.
