Equal parts artsy and fartsy, John Chaich is a Capricorn whose birthday falls between those of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Charo, Eartha Kitt and Dolly Parton. Consequently, he’s lived closer to the crotch of creativity than the lap of luxury, serving as an independent curator, zine publisher, event producer and AIDS activist. His writes a monthly column, That’s So Queer, for UrbanDialect.net and has appeared in Art & Understanding, BUST and the anthology, Body Outlaws. A Cleveland native, John currently calls Manhattan home.
