Mama Mia!
by Tana March

Find It | Picture This

Oh My God! Mother's Day is literally around the corner! Are you stumped for last minute ideas? Check some of these goodies out. Give a little bit of you to show Mom loads of love without breaking the bank.

Make gifts from things you find!
  • If you have a garden, give plant clippings or fresh vegetables or flowers.
  • Make notecards with nice paper and paint or colored pencils or decoupaged clippings from old magazines.
  • Sentimental pictures are always great surprises.
  • Make a frame with cardboard and paper mache or just redecorate an old one you find stuffed in a closet.
Think about who your gift is for. Think about Mom. What would she like? What would you like to express to her with your gift? Then look around. See what you have that might be able to convey that intention and find an interesting way to put it together. But don't put too much pressure on yourself. Whatever you make, your Mom will be thrilled because, above all, this material item is really just an extension of your spirit.
