Supplies | Instructions

Instructions
  1. Measure your paper and add one inch to the width and 3.5 inches to the length.
  2. Cut the flooring, rubber or leather to this number. This is the cover.
  3. Lay the paper on the cover, exposing a .5-inch border on three sides. The fourth side will have approximately 3 inches of border.
  4. Mark the centerfold of your book.
  1. Choose two equidistant spots along the fold (a quarter of the way down from the top and bottom) and carefully use the Xacto knife to punch a hole through the paper and the cover.
  2. Run the cording through the holes from the inside out. The cord should be longer on one side.
  3. Tie off on the back and decorate the cord ends with beads or knots.
  4. Fold the book in half, fold the long end of the cover over and wrap closed with cord.
