Let There Be Light
by Scott Acord

Intro | Preparation | Electrical | Switch | Diagram

Attaching the Switch
  1. With your needle nose pliers reach through the hole in the binding and pull the electrical cord through about 4 inches.
  2. Split this section of the cord in two with the X-acto knife. Be careful not to cut into the wiring.
  3. Cut one of these newly separated sides in half and strip the ends about 1/2". See Diagram
Light and Shade
Screw in a light bulb and add a shade and you're done. Plug it in and give it a squeeze. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Now isn't that fun?

Shade tips
To really make it you own try writing out your favorite passage from the book onto the shade with a magic marker.
