Tired of bumping into the walls, tripping over the cat and waking up everyone in the house when you get home after a late night out? Check out this funky Baby Face Night Light. It's a lot more fun than your average store bought light and quick and easy to make. Your roommates will thank you and you'll add precious minutes to those few short hours of sleep before starting your day.
What you'll need
Liquid Resin
Resin Hardener
Baby face mold
Doll eyes
Gloves
Disposable mixing cup and stirrer
Food coloring
Night light fixture
Mix the resin and hardener according to the directions on the back of the can and add food coloring to tint it. Be careful, a little goes a long way.
Fill the baby face halfway with resin and place the eyes (eyes down) in the mixture and let set.
After mixture has hardened, mix more resin and fill the second half of the mold, covering the eyes.
Place the nightlight attachment arm into the neck of the baby face and let it sit until hardened. Over night is good.
After the face has completely hardened, peel back the baby face mold. You may need to use scissors and you definitely won't be able to use it twice.
Attach the face to the night light base, plug into wall socket and voila! Let there be life, I mean light!
These make great gifts so when you're making one for yourself make some for your friends!
