This Coaster Won't Make You Sick
by Elaine Acord

Supplies | Instructions

With a house full of antiques and several very thirsty kids and their friends, it seemed my mother's favorite phrase was, "USE A COASTER!" She didn't have to be in the same room or even on the same floor to intuit the precise moment that one of us put a cold, sweaty drink on one of her tables. I decided to make her some coasters I'd be proud to use.

These coasters are easy to make and they look very expensive. They make great gifts for anyone who is not into the "drink-ring" design on their wooden furniture.

What you'll need:
    1 square tumbled marble tile
    1 piece adhesive-backed felt
    French Script stamp
    Lotus Blossom stamp
    Splatters stamp
    Q-Tips
    Red, Green, Yellow, Black ink
    Aluminum foil
    Cookie sheet
    Oven
Bright Idea: Use your own stamps or find these specific designs from your local Stampin' Up associate.
