Once the award for Best Picture has been announced, have everyone tally their ballots and announce the winners. Then shell out the prizes. Plenty of Oscar-winning movies are available on DVD for less than $20. Throw in a bag of microwave popcorn and a box of Milk Duds, and dress it up in an empty popcorn tub (which you can politely ask for during your next trip to the movies) and you'll have a prize worthy of a long acceptance speech. If you're feeling extra generous, make smaller prizes for your second and third place winners. Movie soundtracks, small bags of candy, or even a gift certificate for two free movie tickets make nice prizes and ensure that everyone walks away happy. Remember, it's an honor just to be invited, but it's nice to go home a winner.
