Lay the poles equidistant from one another, approximately 15”-16” apart,
and place one plywood plank on top of them approximately 1" from
the ends. Make sure the poles stay parallel.
Starting in the center, place a couple of staples into the plank,
attaching it to the pole. If the staples don’t go all the way
in, gently hammer them the rest of the way in.
Staple the plank to the two end poles.
Remove the second and fourth poles from underneath and place them
on top of the plank. Be sure the poles remain equidistant.
Moving on
Weave the next plank around the poles opposite the first and butt
them up snug against each other.
Attach it to the second and fourth poles with a stapler.
Continue weaving and stapling until all the planks are stapled securely
in place.
The even numbered planks will get stapled only to the second and
fourth poles. Odd numbered planks will get stapled to the first, third,
and fifth poles.
In the end
With a measuring tape and pencil, mark the spots for your brackets
on the end poles behind the second plank.
Drill your pilot holes and screw in the brackets… and you’re
done.
Turn it over and hang it up. Notice all the staples are in the back?
Nice work.
