Wasteth Not
By Robyn Heller
Intro | Trash It | Shampoo | Brushing Bubbles | Bag It

Helping the earth: cool. Saving cash: excellent. Doing both simultaneously? Awesome! Everything should be this beneficial.

Television commercials in America often mislead viewers into thinking they need more than they actually do. Ads play off our fears of being rejected socially. Get this toothpaste or your teeth will be yellow and no one will want to talk to you. Use this shampoo so your hair won’t look so dull. Without our cream, you’ll have irreversible wrinkles by age 21. Buy our stuff or be a failure at life!

Luckily, that’s not the reality. When you spend cash for something, make sure you get your money’s worth and then some. Before you throw anything into the garbage, think to yourself, “How can I make the best of this situation? Can this trash be recycled? Could I possibly get more out of it before it gets chucked?”
