To Skip Or Not | Quick And Easy | The Cafeteria Conundrum
The cafeteria conundrum
Your average college cafeteria is installed with a salad bar, a made to order grill for burgers and sandwiches, and a prepared nightly entrée. You can’t live on lettuce ladies. The key to the bar is mix it up. Set aside an evening for high calorie, low nutritional items. If you walk into the café without hunger panging, your mind will be prepared to make a more healthy choice.

Another thing to keep in mind is not filling up on complex carbohydrates. Cafeterias are known for offering high-starch items. Instead of eating your turkey burger on a bun or bagel, try two pieces of rye, or wheat bread. White bread has very little nutritious value compared to wheat. Toast it and throw turkey, veggie patty, ham, or whatever you so desire. You’ll walk out fulfilled but not busting at the seams.
