Dulce de Mexicano
By Johnny Ortez
Mexican Candy | Make It | Dia De Los Muertes

Dia de los Muertos
In addition to being culturally diverse in your serving of Mexican candy on Halloween, you can also show off your knowledge by serving dulces de mexicanos on Nov. 2, the official Day of the Dead. This Mexican holiday celebrates the deaths of loved ones by visiting their gravesites, or altars built at home, and serving them their favorite sweets. Day of the Dead is a family event to remember ancestors, a way of saying hello and remembering those who’ve left this plane for another.
