Caramel Apple Delights

Caramel Apple Art
Looking for something more daring? Make your apple look like a piece of art! How? Add chocolate to your apple in the form of designs!

First, make your basic caramel apple, and dip the fresh caramel apple in any nuts you want (Almonds taste great with this!). Let the caramel cool, then, melt some chocolate (Wilton has chocolates great for this) and start getting creative!

Having a creative block? Here are some things you can do to make them decorative:

  • Coat the apple in a layer of chocolate, then melt some white chocolate and drizzle it over top.
  • Melt white chocolate and dip the apple in it. Put some melted white chocolate in a separate bowl and add some food coloring. Then, with a plastic-bristled brush, paint on colorful designs onto the chocolate coating.
  • Make spooky caramel apple pumpkins by tinting white chocolate to orange, and then use dark chocolate to paint on jack-o-lantern faces. Or, dip the apples in white chocolate and paint on faces to make caramel apple ghosts!
