Variations on a theme

Use more almond extract and less vanilla.
Substitute rum, mint, anise, cherry, lemon, banana, cherry or maple extract.
Try using 1 tsp. flavor of choice and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla.
Don't forget chocolate! Everyone's all time favorite. Add 3 tbsp. baking cocoa and an additional 1tsp. melted butter.
Make the basic mixture without any extract, divide it in half and add various extracts to make different flavors. Add food coloring to the batter so that you know which flavor is which.
