out of a previous commitment, but we all have those times when something

plain sick). Take five minutes and give him/her a ringy-ding and
let them know that you won’t be able to attend. This will
help them plan for having a fewer people and allow for adjustments.

and R.S.V.P. information, respond! It is the one thing you can do
to help keep your host happy in the last few days or weeks before
the event.
