Get into the groove! Break out your brother's stale old concert tees and make 'em your own.
Deconstruct and reconstruct to give this boring tee a glam rock look with fluted sleeves, inverted seems and hooks up the front. You'll top the charts with retro cool.
What you'll need
Long sleeved concert tee
Scissors
Bias tape
Hooks and eyes
Pins
Sewing machine
Decorative fabric (sraps)
Collar and body
Cut off collar
Cut the bottom to desired length.
Iron shirt flat, right side out, to press creases along the sides, from the armpit to the bottom of the shirt.
Use your sewing machine's zig-zag or serging stitch with a contrasting color thread to sew up the creases, giving your shirt an inside-out look.
Use the same stitch to bind the raw edges along the cut collar and bottom.
