Valentine's Style
By Joanna Varikos

Bon Appetite | Le Cinema | Outdoor L' Amour

Le cinema
A relaxed date, like a night at the movies, means you can dress informally, since you’ll be in the dark anyway. Movies can run at least two hours, so your date won’t be focused on you the entire time. A heart printed t-shirt over denim jeans that fit in all the right places is casual and chic.

Adding a heart to a tee you already own is incredibly simple.

What you’ll need:

Cotton t-shirt
Fabric paint (depending on the color of the tee, choose a paint color that will accentuate the heart-shape)
Brush
Heart-shaped stencil (if you’re not comfortable drawing freestyle)
Newspaper

  1. Make sure to wash the tee first if it’s brand new. It will help seal the paint better.
  2. Place newspaper in between the tee so the paint doesn’t go through to the back.
  3. Paint away! Let dry overnight.
Bright Idea: Worried you’ll ruin a new or favorite shirt because your paint brushing technique is a bit rusty? Practice on an old tee or buy one from the thrift store.
