Sometimes finding that special someone comes down to a little common sense. Don’t overlook the obvious. For the women out there, a trip to Home Depot may clear you of your single blues. I’ve heard many a story of ladies who have found love at the lumberjack hangout. Another often overlooked possibility is a sports bar. Sure, the guys who are there are usually enraptured by what’s on the screen. But it takes lots of pure moxie for a sexy gal to saunter in, order a beer, and watch the game from the bar. If you can do it, you just may catch the eye of Mr. Right.

For you guys out there, the same holds true. Single women are everywhere. You just need to take a minute to think of where they might be. A shopping mall, your gym’s pilates class, and perfume/make-up counters are great starting points.

Men and women alike should consider taking a course in photography, yoga, a foreign language, or anything else that they find interesting. Many high schools and YMCAs offer adult education classes for prices that won’t break the bank. The secret is this: take a class in something that you’re sincerely interested. That way, you won’t look like a loser trying to score a date through an adult-ed class.
