Who’s got class?
Your mom is surely
a busy gal with little time to spare for herself. How about signing her
up for a class in something that she’s interested
in, but never made the time for?
Many high schools offer adult education classes in areas like languages,
cooking, art, computers, and photography, just to name a few. You may
also find classes at local community colleges, art schools, or churches
and synagogues. Ask around town and you’ll be surprised at how
much is going on.
On Mother’s Day, present your mom with a course catalog. Ask her
to choose the class that she’d like to take. The rest is up to
you. Make sure to sign her up on time so that she’s not shut out
of the class. Also, get whatever materials she may need, like books,
film, pencils, etc. Pass all the information to your dear mother.
Voilà! Another Mother’s Day down! You came through with
flying colors, I’m sure. And if you start saving now, maybe next
year you can afford the weekend in Paris.
