FINDIN’ YERSELF A REAL GOOD MAN
Sadie Hawkin’s Guide to the Perfect Personals Profile
as told to Tamar Love
Intro | Stand Out In A Crowd | Pick Yer Fella Good | Winnow A Weiner

Winnow Out the Wieners
Be creative and set a few challenges by askin’ yer fella to do one of these silly lil things:

  • Complete a few interestin’ sentences (“If I were a historical monument, I would be…”)
  • Write a poem about his favorite pet/holiday/vegetable
  • Take a Cosmo sex quiz that you pick fer him.

Rate your date by payin’ attention to how he reacts to yer challenge. If you get attitude, you’ll know ya haven’t made a love match. If ya get a real honest, creative or funny response, you’ll know ya picked yerself a winner.

Figger Yerself Out
Yer ma was right—ya ain’t gonna find yer Mr. Right iffen you don’t know who ya are. See a head doctor, read some books or write in yer diary…just figger out what makes ya tick before you even try to get yerself a man. Otherwise, yer just gonna keep spinnin’ yer wheels, kicking yerself in the butt, wonderin’ why ya ain’t got yerself a date for Sadie Hawkins Day on November 1.
